2Y Pump - A Planet Products’ designed and built pump utilized since 1962. This is a fairly simple design that is used to precisely fill aircraft hydraulic systems to specific pressure levels required for testing. If you’ve flown in a plane in the past half century, it is quite possible some of the plane’s hydraulic systems were tested in part utilizing a Planet Products 2Y pump!
